Jishi ZHAO graduated from Tsinghua University in January 2009 with a PhD in chemical engineering and technology.
From February 2009 to the end of August 2012, he worked for China Petroleum Pipeline Corporation, mainly engaged in the development and application of anti-corrosion materials and technologies for long-distance oil and gas pipelines. From September 2012 to March 2017, he worked at the Low Carbon Economy Technology Center of Guoruiward (Beijing) and was the second shareholder of the company, mainly engaged in energy policy and economic research. He is now the secretary general of China Hydrogen Development and Innovation Alliance for Urban Gas
ZHAO has published more than 20 papers, including 12 SCI papers; five monographs, seven patents, including four authorized invention patents, three utility models, and four first inventors. In May 2015, he became a member of the National Hydrogen Energy Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC309), and up to now, he has participated in the formulation and research and review of a number of standards in the field of hydrogen energy industry.
